Ditra mat can be used for a wide range of surfaces, including: concrete, mortar screeds, gypsum based screeds, radiant heated screeds and masonry/mixed substrates. The main purpose of Ditra mat is to reduce lateral movement due to temperature shock. It is waterproofed and mainly used for heated or damaged floors. AP Tiling services only uses Ditra mat from Shluter system and never considers alternatives. We believe they are a top market product and we would recommend it highly.
